  1. Arianbeithe says:

Peter, you are truly a gift to humanity. Thank you for sharing the ancient wisdom and unlocking doors that have been shut for centuries. This is a wonderful gift to receive on Mother’s Day ! Brightest blessings of the goddess shine on you always.

  2. Hi Peter! So I noted that these were the positions all that time ago, so we would need to look up the current Tropical zodiacal degree for each star now. But I wonder – is this the correct degree already for those who use Sidereal zodiac, like Vedic astrologers and some Classical Western astrologers? THANKS tons! LOVE your work here!!

    • Lisa, you are right that you would need to correct the tropical position for each star to bring it up to date (about 1 degree per 72 years). As for sidereal position, you would need to specify which system you are working with. This is called ayanamsa, which is the difference between the sidereal system of your choice and and the tropical position. So, for example, the Lahiri ayanamsa for 2000 is 23 degrees 51, the Krishnamurti ayanamsa is 23 degrees 46, and so on. So if you would like to convert tropical position to sidereal Lahiri, add 6 degrees 09 minutes and then go back one sign.
